LA SALLE-PERU –The Illinois Valley Coal Miners Rugby co-oped with Naperville Crusaders 15 and under team kicked off the series of games and fell to the Arlington Stallions. The 13 and under co-op team fell to Elmhurst. The games were hosted at LP Howard Fellow Stadium and had teams from all over the state compete throughout Sunday.
The 15 and under team fought hard and had four try’s scored, AJ Giese, and Evan Downey from IV Coal Miners, as well as two players from Naperville all scored.
The 13 and under team also did not go down without a fight, scoring try’s were Kyle Dubet and Keegan Dubet, and Anthony Delpivo
