Wiz Khalifa has officially released Kush + Orange Juice 2, the long-awaited sequel to his beloved 2010 mixtape Kush & Orange Juice.
The new project arrives 15 years after the original and marks Wiz’s eighth studio album, featuring 23-tracks and contributions from frequent producers including Cardo, ID Labs, and Sledgren, alongside newcomers such as Mike WiLL Made-It, DJ Quik, and TM88. The guest lineup includes appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, Curren$y, Larry June, Don Toliver, Juicy J, OT Genasis, Gunna, Smoke DZA, and more.
Wiz said of the project: “It’s all about the energy. It’s made for vibing out—whether you’re smoking, chilling, or riding with the crew. This one’s for the day-one fans, 100%.” He adds: “It’s just something I just kept doing for my fans and for the people who support me. That really sparked the fire and just let me know that there was a demand for that again The excitement for it came from what the music actually does for people or what it reminds them of. I think they get a feeling of some of the best times and some of the most fun and important times. And if you want that now, then you’re gonna turn my music on and I’m gonna give you something new for you to have those same experiences. Everyone who’s involved with it … they’re really close to what the origin of the actual ‘Kush + Orange Juice’ story. So, it just makes sense, and it just makes the story even bigger.”
To celebrate the release, Wiz headlined a special 4/20 show at Red Rocks, which will be followed by the launch of his Taylor Gang the World tour, kicking off May 20.
