PERU – Bad weather has delayed the full opening of the new roundabout in Peru. North Peoria Street will remain closed from Sunset Drive to Midtown Road until Friday, and Sunset Drive will remain closed until Monday morning, weather permitting. The estimated $3.5 million dollar roundabout project took just under two years to complete. A ribbon cutting is set to take place Wednesday at 5 PM.
